Dead by Daylight's Chucky Chapter Leaves Stores November 24 After 3 Years
Wanna play? Better hurry.

Dead by Daylight's Chucky Chapter is leaving stores on November 24. Behaviour Interactive shared the news on X, saying "it's now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf" (Dead by Daylight). After that date, you won't be able to buy Chucky from the in-game store or from the console and PC storefronts.
The Good Guy joined The Fog nearly three years ago, so his run is ending a little earlier than some fans expected, and he's the second big horror icon to leave the game this year.
What happens if you already own Chucky?
You keep him, because Behaviour says anything you've already unlocked stays in your account after November 24.
That matches how the studio handled the Halloween Chapter earlier this year. Michael Myers left the store on January 19, and players who owned him kept him, along with his perks. The Haddonfield map also left the map rotation that day (Stevivor).
Is there a last chance to buy the Chucky Chapter?
Yes, a sale on the Chucky Chapter starts on Monday, October 26, so anyone on the fence can grab him for less before he's gone. If you've been putting it off, the next month is your window to grab one of the most memorable killers in the game.
It might be worth doing even if you don't main killer. Once a licensed chapter leaves, there's usually no way to get it again unless the studio brings it back. Dead by Daylight turned 10 this year, so its oldest license deals are only getting older.
Why do licensed killers leave Dead by Daylight?
Behaviour didn't give a reason for Chucky. Licensed characters depend on deals with the people who own them, so the most likely answer is that the Child's Play deal is running out (that's our guess, not Behaviour's). This has happened before with the Stranger Things Chapter, which left the store back in 2021 (GameSpot) and came back a couple of years later, so a return isn't impossible.
My read is that this one stings, because Chucky was one of the more fun licensed killers to play and his size alone made him a different kind of threat. Losing him a month after Halloween feels rough, though the timing is pretty on brand for a horror villain (he always comes back eventually, right?).
