About Church of Nerds
Church of Nerds is a pop culture news site made by nerds, for nerds. We cover gaming, movies, TV and pop culture, and we write about them the way you'd talk about them with your friends (loudly, and with strong opinions about which trilogy is best).
We also run Church of Star Wars and Church of Avatar, because we GENUINELY love this stuff. This site is where that fandom turns into news, reviews, deep dives and guides you can actually use.
What you'll find here
- News on the games, movies and shows people are talking about this week
- Reviews with a clear score and an honest verdict
- Features, opinion and lore deep dives that go further than the headline
- Guides like watch orders and release calendars, kept up to date
We make merch too, the kind we'd actually wear ourselves. It helps keep the lights on, but the writing ALWAYS comes first.
Got a tip, a correction or a hot take? Reach us through our contact page. We read everything, even the messages arguing the prequels are the best trilogy (especially those).
