Avatar: Seven Havens Book 1 Ends Friday With a Four-Episode Finale

Avatar: Seven Havens is about to wrap up its first season. The final four episodes of Book 1 arrive on Paramount+ this Friday, October 30, ending with Chapter 13, "The Root Chakra" (NickALive).

The show premiered on October 9 with three episodes and has been releasing new batches every Friday since. It's a sequel to The Legend of Korra from the original creators, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. It follows Pavi, a young earthbender who finds out she's the next Avatar (ComingSoon).

What episodes come out on Friday?

Friday's batch is the biggest one yet, with four episodes dropping at once:

• Chapter 10, "Ghosts and Spirits"
• Chapter 11, "Battle of the Ruins"
• Chapter 12, "The Dome"
• Chapter 13, "The Root Chakra"

That's a lot of Avatar for one night (we recommend snacks and a clear schedule).

Is Avatar: Seven Havens renewed?

Yes, and well beyond the next season. Book 2 was ordered before the show even premiered. Then at New York Comic Con, Paramount+ renewed Seven Havens through Book 4, according to a Deadline report. That means four books are locked in before Book 1 has even finished.

The same report said Konietzko will run another new show, too. It's called Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos, and it's about a rebel teen Avatar who learns the elements on the road. It likely won't arrive before late 2027 (Cancelled Sci Fi).

When is Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender coming to Blu-ray?

Next week. The Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender movie came out on Paramount+ in July. It hits Blu-ray and DVD on November 3. A 4K Ultra HD SteelBook follows on February 9, 2027 (No(R)eruns).

My read is that this is the best stretch Avatar fans have had in years. We've got a new Avatar, a movie on disc and three more books on the way. If you want something to read between episodes, our guide to the Avatar comics set between the show and Korra is a good place to start.
